FAQs

What’s in your seasonings?

Spices. Most BBQ rubs or other seasoning blends start with salt or sugar. Not ours. Additionally, most other seasonings on the market use “salt extracts or extractives,” which are artificial flavors fused to salt with oil. Again, not ours. TDon’s does not contain anything that could be considered an artificial flavor, preservative, or filler. This is why our blend costs just a little bit more than others.

What is your shipping policy?

Contiguous USA. We haven’t found a shipping method that would be cost effective for international or overseas shipping, unfortunately. Please let us know if you know of one. We will ship our product anywhere if it isn’t cost prohibitive to our customers. However, if you just have to have it and are willing to pay additional in shipping, we will work with you to find some options. Please contact us.

Is your seasoning gluten free?

Yes. Our product contains only the finest quality ingredients which are listed on the individual product page. There are no additives, no preservatives, no MSG, no sugar, no salt, no anti-clumping agents, no fillers, and nothing else. Only the finest. Always.

Is your seasoning non-GMO?

Yes. There are no individual or combinations of ingredients within TDon’s seasonings that are genetically modified. Therefore they are classified as non-GMO. Though we do not list this on the label, we are looking to apply the appropriate labeling to our spices when the next batch of labels are produced.

Does your seasoning contain salt?

No. However, salt is a naturally occurring element of many foods and spices. To this end if you studied our seasoning under a microscope you might find some trace salt in the mix. Also, due to the fact there there is curry in our seasonings that consists of a blend of spices, there might be a trace amount of salt in that blend. However, it’s not noticeable and not added. You’ll notice on some seasonings the first ingredient is salt. Not ours. We do not add any salt—ever!

How long does your seasoning last?

3 years. Our seasoning blends are shelf stable and in our testing processes, have not lost any quality sitting in a spice cabinet in the dark for 3 years. However, legally when we produce we can only add a shelf stable digital imprint on the side of the bottle for one year after the time of manufacture. That doesn’t mean it won’t last much, much longer. If you manage to somehow not use our product even after the “best buy” date, chances are it’s just fine. If you are stingy with your spices, and hold on to them for a really long time, you might find that the color intensity might be slightly less than advertised or when originally purchased. This is normal. When air is introduced to the seasonings they might slightly oxidize over the course of time and this is reflected in a slight loss of color.
